Jánnos Eolou is a member of the Recording Academy (Grammy), the European Film Academy & the Hellenic Film Academy.

Jánnos Eolou is a Greek composer and producer whose work spans concert music, cinema, television, theatre, contemporary dance and multidisciplinary performance. Educated in the United Kingdom and the United States in music and mechanical engineering, his musical studies included composition, improvisation, orchestration and scoring for film. His work has been performed and distributed in more than 30 countries and encompasses award-winning screen scores, full-length concert cycles, stage works, multimedia productions and recorded projects.
At the centre of his recent musical language is an approach he describes as Magic Realism in Music: exceptionally smooth, often imperceptible transitions between tonal and emotional realities, through which the listener’s sense of musical reality changes without abrupt rupture. Across media, his work is consistently concerned with memory, identity, human experience and the dramatic relationship between music, image, movement and space.
